Design: Creative Marketing Collateral for 60th Anniversary Campaign
We need to design engaging campaign materials for our upcoming 2024/25 campaign, which begins in August.
In coordination with our Campaign sponsor, we will create the campaign theme and then develop the materials that will be used in the campaign. These materials will include: a campaign logo, pledge forms, brochure (1 page/front back), billboard, thermometer banners (4x8 ft), social media templates, webpage, t-shirts, yard signs, poster, and a short video. All of the campaign materials should align with the theme and match United Way's brand standards.
United Way of the Kearney Area is celebrating it's 60th anniversary. After several tumultuous years within the organization, things have turned around with a new Executive Director and refreshed enthusiasm for the important roles the organization plays in the community related to healthy communities, youth opportunities and financial security. The annual campaign is vital to the ongoing success of United Way's financial support of its partners and of the programs we wish to accomplish. Workplace campaigns are historically 75% or more of the dollars raised each year.
The marketing materials created for the campaign are viewed by thousands of people across the city and region. Their impact equates to support for thousands of people annually with things like: support after abuse/neglect for a child, mentors for youth, education for young girls, life skills for foster youth, reduced-cost therapy, assistance for housing, utilities and food, access to health care services, and so much more.
Because of the cyclical nature of the campaign, we have specific formats and items that we know are needed, listed above. We have identified the specific items we need. Additionally, United Way and the campaign sponsor have clearly identified brand guidelines with which to follow. The volunteer will coordinate with the Executive Director and Market Engagement team to develop materials and approval from the campaign sponsor.
The items are needed to be ready to print in mid-July for role out in August/September. Campaign coordinators will receive materials early August. United Way has a list of identified workplaces with which we partner for the annual campaign. The resources will also be used to recruit new workplace campaigns. Campaigns take place throughout the fall months. A final celebration takes place in early Spring (April) to celebrate the campaign within the theme of the campaign itself.
