Budget Forecasting for a Cancer-Fighting Nonprofit
Help us strengthen our financial planning!
Our charity has invested 5+ years developing DEPICT HEALTH. Later this year, DEPICT HEALTH will be deployed globally. We need help forecasting the budget required for this exciting next chapter for our charity.
About DEPICT HEALTH:
DEPICT HEALTH is an eHealth communication tool that facilitates effective, timely communication across a cancer circle of care. DEPICT HEALTH is a cloud-based application customizable to a specific cancer. The current DEPICT HEALTH instance is for the rare pediatric eye cancer retinoblastoma.
With consent, a DEPICT HEALTH account is created for a retinoblastoma patient. Retinoblastoma healthcare providers, irrespective of geography, enter data at each clinical encounter. This includes data about treatment and outcomes. Patients (or their guardians) have real-time view-only access to their DEPICT HEALTH account and can share this access with others.
In this way, DEPICT HEALTH allows healthcare providers and patients to have the full view of a patient's treatment and follow-up, for life! This is vastly different than institution-specific patient portals. DEPICT HEALTH is necessary to improve communication for all cancer patients, especially patients cared for by large multi-jurisdictional teams and patients with heritable cancer.
By helping us improve our financial forecasting, you will be supporting a project that has the potential to revolutionize the field of patient-centered cancer care globally!
To prepare for this project, we have gathered our budgeting information and will share access to our financial management tools. We also have a member of the team that will be appointed to this project alongside the volunteer.
