Public Relations Support for 3-day event
Immersive Arts Alliance (IAA), a SF Bay Area 510(c)3 organization, is looking for a volunteer to assist the Director of IAA, Clark Suprynowicz, and a small team, in outreach to supporters, sponsors and attendees of The Energy Innovation Summit, an ambitious 3-day event taking place this June in San Francisco. This is a commitment of several months.
We do not consider people working with our organization to be "Interns." We will give you a job title and an IAA email address. You will have access to leadership, and you will be included in strategic meetings. You will emerge from several mo's with us having enhanced skills, and a new entry in your resume from a prestigious, respected organization. Presuming you do effective work with us, you will receive a strong letter of recommendation. If you are interested in offering yourself up to future employees as someone who can aid with outreach and the public face of an organization to build community engagement, this may be the right opportunity for you.
IAA has worked with Taproot volunteers in the last 1-2 years in connection with Development work, also building community and our base of strategic allies. We have extensive tracking of the existing community of supporters and allies. We are at present building a new, targeted base of people, companies, and organizations that are in the Green Energy Space, and who are active with Climate-related and environmental concerns. We need help growing this list, and with outreach to these new contacts. You'll be working with the Exec. Director and the Director of Communications, who are (both) focused exclusively on the Energy Innovation Summit and its June premiere. An overview of the Summit is here: energyinnovatorsnetwork.com
