We're seeking a volunteer to help us maximize our Google Ad Grant. This project will play a key role in our organization's ability to grow brand awareness and impact community members. This project may include the following activities:

-Assessment, development of, or updates to our nonprofit's current Google Ads strategy
-Setting up integration between Google Ads and Google Analytics
-Making recommendations for future search engine optimization or content management projects that will improve our Google Ads health
-Helping us maximize our monthly budget (currently, we are using around $5,000 of the allotted $10k)

Our ideal volunteer has experience with Google Ads and/or search engine marketing and copywriting skills.

We are a small grassroots/startup nonprofit that has been given this incredible Google Ads Grant, but we don't have the capacity to take full advantage of it! We need help getting some sustainable campaigns off the ground and setting up proper site tracking with Analytics. We know that using this properly could be a huge boon for our organization and the artists we serve, but just need a little push to get things started. We know that there are folks who are potential donors out there, and if they knew about our work, mission, and vision, they would want to support us.

Queer and trans folks, especially queer, trans and disabled Black, Indigenous, and Other People of Color experience discrimination, poverty, houselessness, violence, and so on at greater rates than the rest of the population. Independent artists, especially those of us who are marginalized, are working within a music industry that exploits independent artists who are striving to make a living wage. We are working within structures that uphold capitalism, white supremacy, transphobia, and queerphobia. In order for us to achieve our mission and vision, we need to find more folks willing to share resources and wealth so that we can further progress in our services, mission, and vision.

To prepare, we have activated Google Ads for our website and secured a Google Ad Grant award. We are prepared to share the login credentials to our Google Workspace. In our first session together, we'll brief you on our marketing goals, as well as our mission, vision, and purpose.

We also have several campaigns running already, and are using $5k of our allotted $10k per month. Eli Owens, one of our staff, has experience with digital marketing and Google Ads and is willing to meet with you to come up with a gameplan.

Our mission at Grimalkin is to mentor and support trans and queer musicians, particularly BIPOC and disabled artists, using an artist-centered holistic approach to break down barriers, create new systems and structures of support, and expand the reach of marginalized voices. Grimalkin is transforming the music industry, our world, and documented history with artist-centered structures of support through education, mentoring and production services provided through our ever-growing international network of trans, queer, BIPOC, disabled, and neurodiverse creatives. We provide trans, queer, BIPOC, disabled, and neurodiverse artists support and access towards living authentic, healthy and fulfilling lives through partnerships and connections with other individuals, collectives, organizations, and nonprofits. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit designated as a public charity 509(a)(2). We envision a world where dedicated artists, especially marginalized artists, can make a living wage and have access to resources that allow them to lead healthy and fulfilling lives. We are creating new systems of support in an effort to set an example for new standards in music and art.
