Rebranding Strategy
FIERCE Advocates recently rebranded with a new organizational name, website, and logo. However, we are in need of an overall brand strategy so that our new brand demonstrates confidence and clarity to build trust in the community and expand credibility among partners and funders.
The most helpful thing for our organization's brand development is to define our brand essence, determine what additional visual assets we need, and develop brand guidelines. Our goal is that our brand strategy will allow us to create a marketing plan so that we have a roadmap for connecting to more clients/program participants, donors, and other stakeholders. When people hear FIERCE Advocates, we want them to understand who we are, what we do, and how they can engage in our programs and ultimate mission.
FIERCE Advocates, formerly Building Blocks for Kids (BBK) is a dynamic organization that has worked in partnership with Black and Latinx communities for 17 years to build spaces for wellness and collective advocacy so that individuals and families have resources for physical and emotional well-being and youth have access to a quality education.
It is an exciting moment for FIERCE Advocates as we recently became independent of fiscal sponsorship and now operate as our own 501c3 nonprofit organization. With a new name and brand that fits who we are today, we believe that with a great communications and marketing plan, we can reach more people who can utilize our programs, which are all no-cost, such as a doula training and care program, leadership programs for those who are interested in advocacy and health and wellness programs for families, like art and crafts and Zumba.
We have plenty of written documentation that describes our organization and its program, as well as information about our various stakeholders. We have professionally shot videos of program participants that describe our program's impact. Additionally, our executive director will be working with the volunteer on this project. With a brand strategy, we will build organizational capacity in strategic communications and provide workshops and training for staff and board about how to implement the strategy and become more effective FIERCE Advocates ambassadors.
