Taproot and Out Cold Marketing Pro Bono Bus Tour Hits Chicago

From October 21-25, a Taproot Foundation Pro Bono Bus will be touring the streets of Chicago. In partnership with a campaign donated pro bono by Out Cold Marketing, the Taproot-branded Volkswagen Bus will be raising awareness around volunteerism during Pro Bono Week.

Aimed at celebrating and activating the public in pro bono and volunteerism, the Pro Bono Bus will make stops at some of Chicago’s most philanthropic corporations and infamous landmarks downtown and in the surrounding areas. The team will be talking with residents and tourists all over the city, educating them on how they as individuals, companies or nonprofits can get involved and support the pro bono movement. The campaign is organized in conjunction with Pro Bono Week, global platform that acknowledges and inspires pro bono service.

The Taproot Pro Bono Bus will be cruising around Chicago 11 AM–6 PM Monday through Friday of Pro Bono Week. Want the bus to make a stop at your company or nonprofit? Contact Mary Hankey (mary@taprootfoundation.org).

The entirety of this campaign, including its design and implementation, has been donated pro bono by Out Cold Marketing (outcoldmarketing.com). OCM petitioned their friends to help out as well, securing support for a donated bus wrap from Insight Sign Co. (insightsigncompany.com) and discounted Taproot-branded water bottles from Specialty Marketing (specialtymarketing.com). Taproot’s national Pro Bono Week efforts are generously supported by Deloitte and Capital One.
