Pro Bono Week is creating quite the buzz in the Bay Area and we wanted to share a few highlights from the first two days- enjoy! Tuesday’s LinkedIn Event on Securing Pro Bono & Board Talent
Nearly 40 nonprofit leaders eager secure pro bono and board talent were joined by LinkedIn employees who guided them through live searches to get them familiar with LinkedIn’s board connect tool, and empower them to access the talent they need to succeed.

Monday’s Foundation Center Pro Bono Fair
Standing room only with 80 nonprofit leaders eager to hear how to scope, secure and manage pro bono successfully. Taproot Foundation was joined by other pro bono providers including Deloitte, Google, HBS Community Partners, HP Office of Sustainability & Social Innovation, NetSuite, Public Architecture’s 1% Program, Stanford Alumni Consulting Team, Volunteer Legal Services Program, Cornerstone OnDemand Foundation’s HR Pro Bono Corps, Jewish Community Federation Pro Bono Consulting Practice, and Salesforce.com Foundation.

Michael Nobleza, Executive Director of the Children’s Creativity Museum took the stage and shared the museum’s example of how pro bono has helped transform the organization: “Pro bono has become a part of us.”
