Over the next several weeks, new pro bono projects will begin staffing at Taproot. That means new opportunities for pro bono consultants to make a world of difference for a nonprofit.
Not only are we proud to be launching more than 60 projects for incredible nonprofits across the country, but we’ve also excited to deliver our newest grant type, Program Measurement, and to re-launch our updated WordPress Website and Pro Bono Recruitment Service Grants.

SF BAY AREA
What drives Opportunity Junction is the belief that every person who is willing to work hard deserves an opportunity to succeed. They help struggling job seekers through job training and placement, career development assistance, technology classes, and do-it-yourself tax assistance. Opportunity Junction is looking to update their Salesforce database to be more client-centric.
This Salesforce Database Service Grant will staff: a project manager, configuration specialist, data analyst and business analyst.
WASHINGTON, DC
Fight for Children fights to ensure low-income children in Washington, DC received a great education and stay healthy so they can learn. They are in need of a new, modern website that is interactive and communicates not only what they do, but what impact they make.
This WordPress Website Service Grant will staff: a WordPress web developer, graphic designer, content manager, and marketing manager.
LOS ANGELES
In LA, there are two amazing nonprofits, both looking for support with our new Program Measurement Service Grant.
First, LA’s Promise is working to radically improve the education, health and social outcomes for thousands of youth in one South Los Angeles community. Program evaluation and outcome measurement is a priority right now as LA’s Promise focuses on refining the allocation and application of their resources.
No Limits Theater Group serves an unmet need in the community by teaching economically disadvantaged deaf children to confidently speak, achieve, dream, and inspire through its national theatrical program and after-school educational center. Internally, they want a data-driven culture that maximizes the efficiency and effectiveness of their assessments and results.
Each of these grants will staff: a project manager, strategy consultant, analytics consultant, and data analyst.
NEW YORK CITY
Program Measurement is a popular need with our New York nonprofits as well. One nonprofit, Junior Achievement of New York, teaches students from kindergarten through high school about financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship. Their New York chapter serves tens of thousands of students and started the High School Heroes program, where 11th and 12th graders actually teach the lessons they’re learned to young people in their community. They want to quantify the impact of High School Heroes on student-volunteers.
This Program Measurement Service Grant will staff: a project manager, strategy consultant, analytics consultant, and data analyst.
CHICAGO
Friends of the Parks works to preserve, protect, and improve Chicago’s parks, forest preserves and natural areas for the benefit of all its neighborhoods and citizens. Through a better database system, they plan on expanding their capabilities to serve their constituents and grow the organization.
This Salesforce Database Service Grant will staff: a project manager, configuration specialist, data analyst and business analyst.
These are just a few of the many incredible organizations with Service Grants that will soon be staffing.
